Pick a photo that works
The clip is only as good as the photo. Follow this list and most generations land on the first try.
Works great
- One person, facing the camera
- Clear, even light — the whole face visible
- Head and shoulders in frame
- A plain or uncrowded background
- The original photo, not a screenshot or heavy filter
Avoid
- Group photos — the lead singer gets ambiguous
- Sunglasses, hats, or anything covering the face
- Dark, blurry, or very low-resolution photos
- Children, celebrities, or anyone who has not agreed
- Full-body shots where the face is tiny
